3B Yoga thrives in its Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga roots

While honoring the Ashtanga Yoga tradition we also offer the 3B Yoga system (B1, B2 & B3), Prenatal, Gentle, Vinyasa, and Yin classes, making Yoga accessible, spirited and delightful for everyone!

  • B Gentle

    First-time to Advanced

    Discover the art of mindful movement and be rejuvenated through a thoughtful sequence of supported poses. Lengthen the muscles, free the joints and broaden the mind. Even the stiffest and crankiest student will feel open and liberated!

  • B2:Modified Short Primary

    Beginner to Advanced

    Begin to explore the wider world of Ashtanga yoga. Think of this class as a “modified shortened primary,”  the next step after B1.

  • B3: Mixed Ashtanga

    Intermediate to Advanced

    Intelligently combining poses from the first two series of Asthanga Yoga, move through challenging postures free from resistance in a sequence that flies, floats and bends. Intermediate to Advanced.

  • Short Primary

    Beginner to Advanced

    A shortened version of the Traditional Primary Series.

  • Led Primary Series

    Intermediate to Advanced

    This traditional sequence of Ashtanga Yoga known as “Yoga Chikitsa,” or Yoga Therapy is a meditative and healing progression of precise movement and deep postures and is considered to be the most foundational and challenging of all yoga practices! This class is part of the Mysore program at 3B. It is encouraged to take a Led class once a week as a way of “checking in” with the traditional vinyasa count.   • Mysore Style

    Beginner to Advanced

    In this class students practice individually in a group setting under the guidance of an experienced teacher.  This is the traditional way of teaching the Ashtanga system.  Please click here for more information on 3B’s Mysore program.

  • Prenatal

    All Levels

    Come nurture yourself with soothing breath and move through asanas specifically sequenced to strengthen, ease and stretch the changing pregnant body.  Prenatal yoga is offered by New Life Birth Servies.

  • Rocket

    Intermediate to Advanced

    Rocket Yoga, was created by Larry Schultz and is rooted in the Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga practice, and focuses on back bending, spinal twisting and arm balancing. It is an uplifting series of postures that has gained global recognition as a “feel-good experience” which opens the body and clears the mind. The playful and upbeat Rocket routine is the perfect counter to the soothing forward bending of the Primary Series.

  • Be Restored

    All Levels

    Be Restored will take you through a class where you are aligning your physical and mental center through gentle poses, supported by props, held for a period of time.  Oh my, I’m more relaxed just thinking about it!

  • Yin Yoga

    First-time to Advanced

    Yin yoga targets the body’s connective tissues while holding mild to moderate stretches. This quiet and meditative practice is a perfect compliment to more active vinyasa style and is appropriate for all levels.

  • B Fun

    Beginner to Advanced

    It’s all in the name. A fun flowing class as unique and wonderful as you.

  • B Strong

    All Levels

    A strong practice is a safe practice.  This class will introduce basic pilates and other  exercises to help you develop strength and stability.
